"Doctors are crying because they can't treat their patients": Pablo Yedlin warned the government about the situation at Garrahan Hospital.

National Representative Pablo Yedlin lamented the situation atGarrahan Hospital , describing it as " desperate ." During an interview with Radio Spendid, the Tucumán legislator commented: " The situation at Garrahan is desperate. We saw doctors with enormous experience and international prestige in pediatrics go bankrupt because they can't care for their patients ." Yedlin asserted that Garrahan "is not just another hospital" and highlighted the procedures performed at the highly complex pediatric center. "It's the last link in the complexity of pediatric healthcare in Argentina. If Garrahan isn't there, you have nowhere to perform transplants or the most complex neurosurgeries," he emphasized.

The former Minister of Health of Tucumán spoke about the Chamber of Deputies session convened by the opposition to discuss various bills to restore income for healthcare workers, retirees, and people with disabilities. The deputies are seeking to declare a state of emergency for the disability sector due to cuts to pensions and social security benefits, a $100,000 bonus for retirees, and a 7.2% increase for those earning the minimum wage.

"The Chamber needs a double vote. All bills go through the Budget Committee, but since its chairman (José Luis) Espert is not working, we have to force him to do so through a subpoena that requires a session with a quorum and a majority vote ," Yedlin stated.

The Union for the Homeland representative argued that the National Government " doesn't understand the importance of Garrahan for the public health system because they don't care."
